About the Program

The Play Reading Group is a casual space for discussion, reflection, connection and community - gather together with us, bring a plate and settle in to read and discuss different plays.

Each session we’ll be exploring a new play, with our host guiding you through a live reading, and the discussions that follow. This will be a welcoming, inclusive, community-led space where you can explore plays.

Pop in for a one-off session or sign up to the weekly group each Tuesday evening across 5 weeks. No experience needed—just your curiosity and open mind.

1. Tuesday 19 August 2025, 6:00-8:00pm** Held at Atwell House and Gallery

2. Tuesday 26 August 2025, 6:00-8:00pm

3. Tuesday 2 September 2025, 6:00-8:00pm

4. Tuesday 9 September 2025, 6:00-8:00pm

5. Tuesday 16 September 2025, 6:00-8:00pm

Location: Canning Bridge Community Space

**Please note August 19 will be held at Atwell House and Gallery

Cost: $5 single session or $20 all five sessions

Places will be limited and registration is essential.

Please note that our workshops are designed for adults and you must be 18 years or over to register for any workshop.
