About the Program

The Play Reading Group is a casual space for discussion, reflection, connection and community - gather together with us, bring a plate and settle in to read and discuss different plays.

Each session we’ll be exploring a new play, with our host guiding you through a live reading, and the discussions that follow. This will be a welcoming, inclusive, community-led space where you can explore plays.

Pop in for a one-off session or sign up to the weekly group each Tuesday evening across 5 weeks. No experience needed—just your curiosity and open mind.

1. Tuesday 14 October 2025, 6:30-8:30pm

2. Tuesday 21 October 2025, 6:30-8:30pm

3. Tuesday 28 October 2025, 6:30-8:30pm

4. Tuesday 4 November 2025, 6:30-8:30pm

5. Tuesday 11 November 2025, 6:30-8:30pm

Location: Centre for Stories, 100 Aberdeen St, Northbridge

Cost: $5 per session

Accessibility: Please note these sessions take place as lounge room sessions. The house is wheelchair accessible however the bathroom has a narrow doorway.

Places will be limited and registration is essential.

Terms and Conditions

Please note that our workshops are designed for adults and you must be 18 years or over to register for any workshop.
